Samuel Landete joins Asturix DevTeam
Samuel Landete Benavente joins Asturix DevTeam. After being one of the most active supporters of the project after knowing it from Luis Iván intervention in the Maddog’s keynote in the last Campus Party Spain (Valencia 2011). In Campus Party Milenio (Granada 2011) he was always very close to the position of Asturix and installed it on his computer. He’s a strong advocate of free software. He also leverages to instill critical thinking and entrepreneurship to his students. This post he published (While you spend your time in Tuenti, he spends time programming the Platform of the future) is proof of that.
When the largest technology event of the world was held in Berlin (Campus Party Europe 2012) Samuel was also there supporting Asturix even with a t-shirt with the Asturix logo. We can see him in the picture with Jon “maddog” very proud of having Asturix OS on his laptop.
Now Samuel wants to be more involved on the project. We welcome him to our team for, as he says, going down in history as a defender of free software through a young project but with an enormous potential like Asturix. Firstly he will participate in social networking, microblogging, and documentation and he will also participate in the technical area thanks to his great knowledge of Linux and Asturix OS.
His great experience as a teacher gives him bigger importance in an area that will be developed on the project in the near future.
